About the Repair Process
1. Initial Contact and Consultation:
We invite you to initiate the repair process by contacting RWL Shadyside through various channels, including online messaging, phone calls, or in-store visits.
2. Assessment and Evaluation:

Comprehensive Evaluation: Upon receiving the customer's repair request, RWL Shadyside conducts a thorough assessment of the item to determine the extent of the damage and the required repairs. This process takes time. Please be patient while we assess the repair or alteration. Typically, we need to see your item in person before we can move forward. However, you are welcome to email photographs of your item(s).
3. Repair Process:

Transparent Communication (sometimes a lil' slow): If you have a specific deadline for a project, please communicate that, and we will do our best to accommodate you. A 'rush-fee' may be applied for certain requests.

We will assess your project, and communicate the cost and process needed. Our estimate may change during the repair process to unforeseen issues with the item(s) we are working on. Our staff will inform you once work begins on your project if there are options, you will be told and be able to make informed choices.

4. Customized Solutions:

Tailored Approach: RWL Shadyside offers customized solutions tailored to each customer's specific repair needs, whether it involves stitching, patching, fitting, cleaning, hardware replacement, or refinishing. Our cleaning service is performed out-of-store, but we maintain communication with our long-trusted vendors to protect your pieces.
5. Delivery or Pickup:

Convenient Delivery Options: Once repairs are completed, customers can choose between convenient delivery options, such as in-store pickup or shipping to their preferred address.

Careful Packaging: Repaired items are carefully packaged to ensure safe transit and to preserve their condition during delivery.
